My name is Erika, and I do natural light photography. I chose the name Traveling Light Photography for my work because it encapsulates both life and art for me.

I’ve traveled around the world with my camera, packing light on every trip and to every photo shoot, bringing only essentials.

I use the existing light to my advantage in capturing every image.

I’m just traveling through this life, trying to hold loosely to the non-essentials and the non-eternal, looking for beauty at every turn.

Some things are for the letting-go, some are for the holding-on. I hope my art helps you hold on to beauty, letting its roots grow deep within you.
